To quote from the QST Review of the Ten Tec Omni VI (January 1993)
"The Omni V, when placed to the right of its matching power supply, suffered
from loud 120-Hz hum coupled from the supply into the radio. This problem is
absent in the OMNI VI."
Doesn't say why, just says they fixed it . . .
