I am delighted that several folks have indicated their decision *not* to 
purchase a new Orion, a decision based predominantly on the display and other 
cosmetic issues. I hope that many hams, especially those who are contesters, 
come to the same conclusion.

As an amateur amateur contester, I need all the competitive edge I can get, and 
if Orions are kept out of the competition's hands... well, that's a break for 
me.
