The Icom IC-703 was announced at HamFair Tokyo, and will be available in
Japan at the end of this year. I should think that it will be available in
North America by Dayton next year (or earlier).

The U.S. amateur market is a relatively small part of Icom's marketplace for
HF equipment. All Icom HF transceivers are designed to meet basic ITU-R
requirements, so that they can be sold to commercial and governmental users
in the international marketplace.
