Hi Mike,
I didn't get a chance to turn the rig on till late, about 5:00pm Eastern
(16:00 Central). I tried to check in a couple of times, but conditions
were deteriorating as time went on.
I heard several stations with amps and/or big antenna farms; N8JUP,
N6HEA, N1IPF, and W4RTE. A couple of these guys were over S-9 here in
Philly.
After the net, things were very hot on 10m; on 28.447 I talked to W5ES
in El Paso, Texas. Well over S-9 here. (probably wearing a big Texas
hat -- full gallon??)
Will try again next week.

Were using a Corsair II w/961;
And a 238 tuner into a 10m 1/2y Vertical (A-99)
