I run mine with my Omni VI and Corsair II by running the tx enable/out
cables from the rigs to a radio shack stereo speaker switch box, that
switches any of three L and R audio channels to one pair out of the box. RS
has them for around $19 (at least they had them last year for that price).
It's a black plastic box with three pushbutton switches on the front (you
can add a 3rd rig if you want to). Just make sure you are consistent in how
you use the left and right channels for en. and out, run your phono cables
to the rigs and a pair out of the box to the Centurion, together with a coax
switch for the rf and all you have to do is sit back and push buttons to
select a rig to drive the amp. You can also take both rigs out of the
circuit at the switch box which, with Corsair II and later Ten Tec rigs,
eliminates the risk of accidentally transmitting. With any other mfr's
radios you may have to watch this because you might key the tx and not the
amp. Since I have not owned any other mfrs. gear in over 2 decades & never
have run a linear with anything nonTT I had assumed that other mfrs. used a
similar exciter--amp keying arrangement. I have since been informed that
the TT amp control circuit is kind of unique to TT. I'd been spoiled
without realizing it.
