COOL!! But Ten Tec amps have sequenced keying built into them. Or at least
mine did the last time I had my IC-781 driving my Titan amp at 80wpm,
creating no aroma or loud popping or snapping noise.

For those wanting to really control when and how your amp keys, look into
the DownEast Microwave "5 output T/R Sequencer". You can get it ready built
for 90$us or you can get the kit of all the parts for 60$us. There are
other options such as bare PC board or board & parts etc. You can find the
iten on page 8 of their catalogue
<http://www.downeastmicrowave.com/DEMICAT.pdf> under the heading of
Accessories. The unit will give you time stepped sequence of 5 outputs (N.O
or N.C - your choice at build time) to keep from creating that wonderful
arroma and loud popping and snapping noise when things aren't done in quite
the right sequence.
