[TenTec] RX320 "S" meter question

I've recently resurrected my RX320 and I've forgotten functions of the 2 
separate indicators on the S meter. I can't find any reference to  the s meter 
in the paper manual or the "help" menu. Can someone advise what the top needle 
is showing and same for the bottom needle? Thanks.
