I'm using the DXLab suite (http://www.qsl.net/dxlab) with the Omni VI+, and I'm
pleased to report that it supports the 57600 data rate. I'm sure that it won't
be long before its author develops support for the Orion.
In fact, I'm using DXLab for daily operations and the N1MM logging program for
contests. Both are exceptional, and both are FREE.

The Orion Programmer's Reference Manual says, "Fixed at 57600 baud".
And that's the baud rate between the radio and computer. It's not for
the computer's internal display rate.
