TenTec Reflector:

As a reader of the Digest version of the list
out of necessity, I have two requests that became
very apparent to voice based on the last day's
worth of digests:

1. Please, oh please, if you are also a digest
reader, please don't include the ENTIRE digest in
your reply. There must have been three replies
where that is what happened. (For non-digest
readers: please realize that we have to read
through an entire post, reply material included,
to get to the start of the next message - any
included reply material becomes a pain, especially
if it is not necessary for your message.)

2. For everyone - if there is a way to configure
your email program to put the reply material (what
you are including from a previous post) indented
and with a ">" or such symbol, that would be most
appreciated. That is how mail programs used to
work, making it very easy to spot the new from old
material in the message. The new "business" style
of just including the previous message as not
indented text, labeled with "Original Material," is
a royal pain for reading through in a digest, as
you have to read the entire message again just to
spot the old from new material. (Again, remember,
readers of a digest see all of a message, and it
is not easy to just skip ahead.)

Thank you for your consideration. Have a good
TenTec day!

Cheers/73,
Kevin, K9IUA
