I had this problem as well as the whine. They are caused by the same issue. A temp fix was to place the one 100 ohm resistor in series for each ear piece. This is just temporary as it also cuts down the audio available to the headphones as well. But for the most part, the whine and click and such are gone, unless you run the AF wide open. TT has a fix for it now. But the rig has to go back for them to do it. I will be sending mine back after FD. The problem is being caused by a couple ground loops. 73 and GL Greg AB7R |
