Lumpy grease on the screw? In my Corsair's PTO it tuned poorly going down compressing the spring, there was a great deal of slip in the vernier because of a deep groove worn (crooked too) by the balls. A new race, knob shaft and grease job fixed it. The PTO frame does not make the race settle perfectly perpendicular to the shaft. 73, Jerry, K0CQ -- Entire content copyright Dr. Gerald N.
