The electronic lock won't work. Its an analog PTO. It would take a
mechanical shaft lock, made more complicated by the fact that the shaft
for the logging dial is outside the knob shaft. You could use a knob
from a WW2 vintage radio that had a flat back flange and the matching
dial lock. But would probably have to add a bushing to the knob because
the PTO shaft is 3/16" diameter.
I made my Corsair II less vulnerable to random motion by making a knob
of solid aluminum a little larger in diameter and half again thicker so
little nudges don't move it as much.
