[TenTec] WTB: desk mic for a Pegasus

Hello all. I have a Pegasus, and have been trying to throw find a decent but 
cheap mic for it. I've had some luck by gutting an old Turner dynamic mic and 
turning it into a electrec-condenser with some Radio Shack parts, but I'd 
really like something better. Also, my Franken-mic has a tendency to get RF 
into it.

Any suggestions? How is the stock TenTec mic? Any other low-cost options? 
Anyone have any luck with basic dynamic mics, or even the old D-104s?

Finally, if anyone has a good but  abandoned desk mic that want to sell cheap 
to a new home, I am interested.
