I'm not so sure if it's illegal or not. If so, then Emtron, JRC, and several others are illegal, but they get sold in the USA. I dont think they would be so popular if they were illegal. I'll e-mail THP co and find out. And if they meet spectral purity requirments and are operated properly by a licensed amateur, then there should be no problem. After all, you are allowed to build one a year yourself without type acceptance, and some of those may turn out way dirtier than a professionally made one. 73. |
