Carl, I saw the adjustment you speak of but I am not going to turn it pending 
information as to what freq. to set the radio to and so forth.
The manual is over 30 pages and speaks not a word on adjustments.
I don't think the book is as good as the one that comes with the Corsair II.
In fact, the operating instructions are not very good.
It is hard to follow.
Great radio though.
