I'm selling my Omni A Series B (Model 545) S.N. 0758 transceiver.
Covers all bands (160m thru 10m, rec and xmit, with the exception of
17m). 100W out on all bands. Includes stock 2.4kHz SSB filter (of
course) and 500Hz CW filter. Xtal filter switch board has room for the
1.8kHz filter. Model 248 Noise Blanker is installed and works very
well, including against power line noise. Recent complete alignment,
dial string replacement, and PTO rebuild in Sevierville. PTO is very
stable, and has been used on PSK31 with no problem. Includes several
minor, but important, updates which were standard in the Omni C,
including 1/4" phone jack for external speaker. Electrical condition is
a 10, and aesthetics is at least a 9 or possibly 9.5. Front panel is
excellent, as is aluminum surround and vinyl. This has been my prime CW
rig, and a joy to use on both SSB and CW. Excellent blocking, two-tone
IMD, reciprocal mixing, and phase noise performance from the single
high-level DBM, and 9MHz I.F.
