Hello , I had a 746 not a pro and did everything I could to improve the rx
audio and had no luck . I ended up trading my icom for my jupiter and I got
beauriful rx audio much better selectivity ( I had inrad filters in the
icom ) and a noise reduction that really WORKS nice ! my advise is go with
the Jupiter and get the n4py software to run it you will end up with two
radios . I loaded over a hundread shortwave listing freqs. on the n4py
software and it works fantastic with the jupiter . good luck John
