It would be safer to use a circuit breaker. There is nothing in the Corsair to protect the finals in case of over current draw. Also the breaker would provide a convenient way to switch the rig on and off since you won't be able to use the front panel switch with the battery arrangement. The airpax breakers are available from www.pocosales.com .

It looks like I'm going to use a battery to power my new Corsair. Can I use just plan 20 or 25 amp fuses in the leads or do I need some kind of ckt. bkr? Thanks in advance for your help.
