I just ran across a good web site on lightning safety; for both personal and structure (as in tower or other wire in the sky). The National Lightning Safety Institute (NLSI) is a non-profit, non-product advocacy of lightning safety for both people and structures: http://www.lightningsafety.com/ Of particular interest is clickable item #5 on the left of the web page labeled "Structural Lightning Safety" which leads to a nice outline of articles and discussion. Well worth the reading - and maybe your life! 73 de KD4GT |
