Had I a tender ego this Jupiter thing would really have done
a job on me:
1. First I reverse polarity and damage the rig,
2. Then I have a hard time diagnosing the damage,
3. Then I had a real hard time removing the transistors
and reinserting the replacements,
4. And now I cannot find the #17 connector for the speaker!
Where did they hide that thing, please?
Thanks! & 73, doc kd4e

Doc before I forget. Q1 and Q2 are not labelled on the board but they are
the 2 transistors adjacent to connectors 1 and 13. See attached photo.
Good luck.

We solved the problem. We replaced Q1 and Q2 on the DC input board
(Assy. 81895). All is well.
73,

I was told that it could be the diode or the transistor,
2N2222 as i recall.
Haven't gotten back to it yet, hope to later this week.
Were both of those transistors 2N2222's?
