Yes, the 961 supported the OMNI V and the Paragon.  The only difference
in the two is  that one does the regulating on the plus side of the diode
bridge and the other on the minus side.  I believe the 961 is on the +
side and the 962 is on the - side but I'm not sure of that.  They handle
the same amount of current and are operationally interchangeable.
