"I am too sorry his rig was not right, but Icom has as

Awesome statement! I'll have to think about that one for a while.

Some people would prefer to complain than communicate with Ten Tec and get
the problems fixed. I am too sorry his rig was not right, but Icom has as
many or more problems, you just never hear of them. I used to sell the
things.

Game is over.
Don't hold your breath on ICOM.
My uncle bought a brand new 756 PRO2 and it worked for 5 months before
it died. The old issue of one of the chips burning up is still present
and he made sure the unit he received was right off the factory line
(was only a week or two old).
Too bad you're having such issues with the Orion. I'd love to have one
even if the scope and stuff never worked. I never used it in the
Jupiter anyway so all these extra bells and whistles are no interest to
me. God bless those who use it, it's just not my bag.

While I may not be the world's greatest contester -- or a contester at
all! -- my Orion has required a reset maybe twice in 9 months of
operation. That's pretty darn near perfect, in my estimation. Sorry you
couldn't operate your Orion for more than a brief time without a crash,
but not everyone's experience is the same as yours. To each his/her own.
