I cure the problem within 10 minutes ! :-)
I removed the silver sleeve around the know and discover the small screw ! I
use the small hex wrench supplied with the Orion to remove the knob. I
discover that this was not the knob but the encoder itself which is hard to
turn, so I just put one tiny drop of WD-40 on the axis and it cured the
problem !
If it was the RIT/XIT button I don't mind but I play a lot with the PBT/BW
encoder... :-)

Yes, the knob puzzle.
You have to pull off the silver plastic sleeve, which
you can do carefully with a knife blade or small
screwdriver. Then there is a set-screw to loosen the
main knob.
I had to solve that one to disassemble the front panel
one time. The TT QA dept let a board go out with an
unsoldered hole that made the headphone jack
intermittent. Nobody's perfect!
