[TenTec] OT: Strange Signal on 3.530/3.540

Did anyone monitor some type of strange signal around 3.530 (or maybe 3.540)
on Wednesday evening (didn't get on to check last night)?  It was about 8
kHz wide and didn't sound like any of the digital modes I'm used to hearing.
I didn't get a chance to look at on a waterfall, but it had a repeating tone
and a lot of broadband sounding noise.
