Too bad you weren't here a month or so ago! I just sold a 540 station with power supply, external ammeter, remote vfo and 160m convertor, CW filters, etc. Worked great and I had rebuilt both PTOs. You're right...it's a VERY quiet rig...If you haven't found out already, make sure to ask if the PTO slips when you do find one. Most all old TT stuff will need a PTO rebuild (really, just a good cleaning) to get rid of the fossilized grease used in the original assembly. 73 and good luck. John K5MO |
