I was thinking along the lines of the strong signal 'popping' and some mention of increasing sensitivity with a diode swap---not that the old Omni needs too much help in that regard.

Hi,
As a recent owner of an Omni C I am curious to know if there are some mods
out there that may be worth looking at. I had heard even something as simple
as switching some of the diodes? If someone can forward or direct me to
where these mods may be I would be most appreciative.
