Balanced feed it a good thing. But it isn't magic. The 10dB between the zepp with ladder line and the Titan most likely had almost everything to do with how poor the Titan is on 75 and almost nothing to do with ladder line. A GAP Challenger also covers 75 -- meaning only that it presents a nominally resonant 50 ohm load. Almost anything else you can put in the air will radiate significantly better, open wire feed or not :-) Grant/NQ5T |
