And Ten-Tec will repair 90% of equipment they have made the past 30
years.
That is far and above the call or laws on the books.
Automobile mfg. have to make parts available for 7 years after a model is
discontinued.

Write any other "big 3" radio mfg. to see if they will repair a rig made
in the 1980's.
(I called the main & east coast facilities two yrs. ago for a VK friend
needing a relay for his TS-830S; replies on the tel. were
"discontinued-no available replacements-sorry. Click")
