Hi ---

First my apologies for not putting a note on here about Orion II sooner. I missed nearly two weeks of work between going to Canada to operate the CQ WW SSB contest and managing to be laid out sick for four days leading up to the trip. In all I wasn't here for 12 days and it took some catching up time on my part to get back up to speed. I just today read through the reflector archive going back to October 21 to get
more up to date on what's being discussed here.

Orion II: There isn't a whole lot to say except -- coming in November in my estimation. We've had some production line units done for a couple of weeks now (as opposed to pre-production beta units). We're down to finishing the firmware and seeing if anything last-minute comes up with either
firmware or hardware that was unanticipated.

I took a production line unit home for the first time on Nov. 2 and ran it for several hours in the Sweepstakes CW contest last weekend. I've been using it a lot, listening a lot, and leaving it on all night every night to see if anything happens. There are several other people here who are doing the same thing in an effort to see if anything last-minute needs to be addressed.
