Peter:

My findings are that the Tentec filters have less ripple across the passband but the INRAD filters have a more symmetrical and sharper slope on both the upper and lower sides. I prefer the Tentec filters in my Omni VI Plus.

You choice of a CW listening frequency will require the use of the INRAD filters however.

Hello list!

I am going to order filters for an OMNI VI+ but need some advice before doing
so.

The question is: does the combination of the filters # 753 (9000.6 kHz) and # 760 (9000.75 kHz) make sense or it is better to order # 759 and # 760 (both centered at 9000.75 kHz)? I prefer to listen to a frequency of about 400 Hz but do not want the af-frequency to alter when switching from 400 Hz to 250
Hz.

Another question is: do the above mentioned filters made by Inrad make a real
advantage vs. those from TenTec?
