I also have the TT 234 speech processor.  I use it with my Orion and now my
Orion II.  I do not use the speech processor in the Orion.  The thing I like
about the 234 is the clipping action when properly set guarantees I do not
overdrive the radio even when I get excited and start talking too loud.
