Ken,

How much current is being drawn when the power supply kicks off? It 
should kick off when you exceed 20 amps. If this is what is happening 
then maybe the impedance of the antenna is too low. If your swr is 
over 2:1 and the impedance is less than 25 ohms you may see too much 
current being drawn by the PS and it will kick off.
