Mike, repeat after me: 17 meters 17 meters 17 meters I made a lot of contacts on the Omni C/external VFO/original Hercules combo before realizing 17 meters was an issue. Never got a warning notice and don't want to risk one. The Omni V and Jupiter have smaller footprints, too, because of the dual VFOs.
