I've been looking at the test results and was wondering where I can find out
what roofing filters were used for the 2 kHz dynamic range tests. The
footnote suggests a similar value at 1 kHz with the 300 Hz roofing filter
engaged. Unfortunately the footnotes do not cite what was done (i.e what
roofing filter was used) at 2 kHz with the Orion II.
In an earlier article (link below) Sherwood tested the Orion (original) at 2
kHz spacing with the 1000 Hz filter and a 2 kHz dynamic range of 92 dB (vs
93 dB in the current table) is published.

Has the Orion (original) ever been tested with a 600 Hz InRad in the 1000 Hz
slot? Would I be correct in assuming a slightly better narrow spaced dynamic
range with the 600 Hz filter?
