No one responded to say they had experienced this anomaly and I am now  
unable to duplicate it myself.  Gary, at ditsnbits, says they have never  heard 
of 
it either.
 
Therefore, I am going to call it operator error (how does that  happen?) or 
some stray RF-in-the-shack-issue that has not repeated itself.
