In head-to-head competition, their antennas have always fared quite well. Their little C3S (12ft boom, 26lbs) tribander sitting at 50ft has fared very well (top 10 several times) in major DX contests here. If you're looking to keep it simple, this is a good way to go. The Optibeams and SteppIR look very impressive as well. And if you don't mind the challenge of 3-D structures and a bit more involved construction, quads have great potential and low noise levels. The Bencher Skyhawk and Cushcraft X-7 will also deliver decent performance. But the Force12, Optibeam or SteppIR would be my first choice. 73, Barry N1EU On 8/21/06, Mark Erbaugh <mark@microenh.com> wrote:I've been pleased with Force 12 Antennas...
