[TenTec] TX EQ = -14 dB for PSK31

Due to the kind generosity of Ken, W8KEB, I have been able to use my Orion I 
with PSK31. It has been pointed out to me by N7GVV that the table in Figure 4-6 
on page 43 of the Orion Operator's Manual suggests a TX EQ setting of -14 db 
when using a sound card interface with PSK31. Can someone explain why this 
setting is better than TX EQ = 0 dB?
