Thomas,
I have an "Option III" (full factory upgraded ) OMNI 6+ and the only problem
I have noticed with the AUX Antenna is that the switch contacts sometimes
get dirty (simply from lack of use) and I have had to push the switch in/
out a few times to get the aux antenna in line. But that is simply because I
don't use an AUX antenna very often.

The axillary antenna function worked a few years ago when I last used it

else has a problem like this?
Any assistance is appreciated.

Thomas,
I had some problems with my Aux antenna circuit, but it was that the
signals
from the main antenna leaked through as I recall. Anyway, the fix is to
change all those diodes. The factory has some new tougher ones--call Don
Prouty
and get him to send you a pack with a few instruction notes. Also, he
can
most likely fine tune your fix on the phone. I'm not at all technical,
but I
did change them out in about an hour. I'm sure a tech could do it in 10
minutes!
