It also does a great job on QRN from garbage disposal which my wife always seems to run just as I'm about to call a rare DX station. The disposal's signal is so strong, I think it could work DXCC if it had a receiver!

I also thought the software NB was near useless until I cranked it up
to 9 one morning when the OTH radar was on 40m.  The blanker took it
out!
