When going split, you have to insure that your RF gain is set correctly for
each receiver. Could it be that you have them out of balance for split
operation?
I just checked as I'm listening to N8S and both receiver volumes work as
expected. Check those gain numbers and make sure you're bandwidths are
equal as well.
Strange if all is set correctly and you're experiencing this. I suggest
that if it continues that you reload your firmware.
