This is why we need to go back to a Novice class. Get the basics with a basic
rig. Then apply it to all the technology that we have today. Remember zero
beating a signal with your old gear. Now that they have VFO's allowed, a Viking
Ranger and an old Hammarlund could teach all this. Was it really that much
simpler 40 years ago?
