The last time I went to the Ten-Tec hamfest, they did offer a 10% discount
on merchandise from their store which included MJF items, etc. They did not
discount new radio equipment. But remember the Tennessee sales tax is 9.5%
so the discount works out to a savings of .5% plus postage. You can order a
rig at the hamfest, but you are better off getting it shipped. The freight
has to be less than the 9.5% sales tax.
