Well, yes, if price is all you look at? MAYBE, someone might want some
FEATURES the TT amp has?
Some people even buy ALPHA amps. I wonder for what reason they do that? Do
THEY see something you don't ? MAYBE ................. as they are SOMEWHAT
more expensive than even TT amps !

Ten Tec sadly may as well throw in the towel and get out of the amp
business. Let's see--I can pay $3200 for a Centurion with an inferior
power
supply or I can pay $2200 for a new AL82 from Ham Station with a power
supply that runs rings around the Centurion. It's a no brainer.
I can buy a Titan III, or for almost $1000 less get a Command HF2500 that
is
built better, looks better, and runs cleaner due it its use of triodes
instead of tetrodes.
