I find it hard to believe you didn't realize there was a problem LONG before
that happened :-)

The update should take around 3 minutes or a bit less.

I don't recall what the v1 manual has in it, but the file with the
instructions to get into Flash Update mode IS in the Orion II section of
RFSquared.
