Having had reason to return my Orion II 566 for a fault repair to Ten Tec. AOR (UK) Ltd. I would like to say that the back up service that both Richard and Tony afford their customers is only excellent. My Orion's VFO just went unstable for no apparent reason. The fault was traced by Tony to an intermittently open circuit inductor part no L35 in the synthesizer unit. Tony also fitted the Ten Tec headphone mod board, which was supplied by Ten Tec. 73'es Anthony "Tony" Magliocco EI6DL. |
