Thanks for your comments. I talked to Ten-Tec this morning. You are correct that the two VFOs are electrically the same. I asked them about why mine looked like a cross between the 263 and 263G, and they also surmised that someone had changed out the case to beige....they also changed to knobs to grey and the front side panels to gray! The front panel is
that brown color rather than beige.

I will relist later and adjust the price accordingly. Thanks for helping with this!

As memory serves, the only difference between the Models 263 & 263G VFO's is
the color.  Mechanically and electrically, they are the same.

And I can guarantee you that the 263 VFO works just fine with the Corsair
II... because that's the setup I have.  Both the VFO and speaker/power
supply are actually the matches for the darker Corsair, not the lighter
Corsair II (grey? beige? whatever), although they do compliment the Corsair
II nicely.  But they work just fine.  I just need to find more time to get
on the air and use the rig!................
