Hi Scott.

So long as the item eventually becomes available I am cool with it.
Will this be something I can install or would I have to send the unit
back to Ten Tec?

Knowing my purchase is somewhat future proof helps the decision to go
with either the Omni or the Orion.

My highest priority is a receiver that can tolerate neighboring signals
and I suppose the Omni is a close second to the Orion and some Elecraft
models.

Thanks for the response.
