Hi, Ron,
Thanks for your comments.  I talked to Ten-Tec this morning.  You are 
correct that the two VFOs are electrically the same.
I asked them about why mine looked like a cross between the 263 and 263G, 
and they also surmised that someone
had changed out the case to beige....they also changed to knobs to grey and 
the front side panels to gray!  The front panel is
that brown color rather than beige.

I will relist later and adjust the price accordingly.  Thanks for helping 
with this!
