The Paragon does not turn on or off the power supply. The power switch on the
Paragon switches the DC, not the AC. This is done so that the power supply may
supply 13.8 VDC to keep the rechargable battery up and maintain memory in the
transciever. Therefore, the two white leads in the power cord (it is the two in
the middle) need to be connected together. This mimics the power being turned
on at the riI have used both 260 and 961 power supplies with my various
Paragons and they work fine. Leave the power supply turned on if you like. The
switch on the front panel of the paragon switches the DC only.
