Anyone wanting to see where major ionosonde stations are located can Google "ionosonde". One of the links has a link. Now, it is the case that some of these research ionosondes come and go, depending on funding. Thus, one you are hearing now, may go away in a semester or two. I wonder if sweeps are also used by Automatic Link Establishment radios? There is some work going on with them near the ham bands, especially Air Force MARS. (Army MARS has just discontinued their ALE program). -Stuart K5KVH _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec |
