absolutely NOT!!

While the Omni VII shows a 9:9 to 1 swr the bird watt meter won't  
even deflect.


push the tune button again and I see 4:5 to 1 swr-----bird shows zero  
reflected power

and there's no "high current" warning either..

power supply current is running just where it should be

no, there's something amuck with the radio when it displays the SWR
